From 2010-2012, Julia wrote a sci-fi/ fantasy trilogy on her subway commute between Brooklyn and the Bronx. Handwritten, it was over 1500 pages and filled countless composition notebooks. In 2013 she began the process of transcribing it and has been editing it ever since. Now, Book 1 of the Mother Worlds trilogy: Origin Gate, is complete, published and available to purchase!

The Good Left In Us is a collection of poems Julia wrote between the ages of 18-28 years old. The collection contains personal poems, political poems and fictional story-poems organized into 6 sections: Mother, Lover, Stranger, Rebel, Criminal, Saint. The book release was held at Bluestockings Bookstore in NYC on February 25, 2013. The book is published by Stone’s Throw Press.
